This lovely platter began as an idea and a lump of clay. Add a potter (me) and now it’s a fully functional yet decorative platter perfect for serving up meals while adding an organic vibe to any setting. Use it for a personal sized meal or to feed a hungry group. It really is that ‘just perfect’ size. The rich fall tones and organic vibe will highlight any table, countertop or display. Built to be a versatile tool in any kitchenware lineup, it makes a fantastic gift.
Each piece is hand built, decorated and glazed by me. Natural variations in size, shape, color and texture are part of the charm of the hand making process and an integral part of of what makes each unique. I used a fern stem to imprint the design on this platter to create this one of a kind dish.
